In this article “Losing Face” we can see the way that many firms have been using social networks like Facebook and MySpace as a useful marketing tool but that can damage the good image of the company. This could be seen in the case of the British Airways and Virgin Atlantic airlines companies when appears rude and offensive comments originated by a group of dismissed workers of the company that try to offense them in the net .
We have to know that both companies have an agreement with its employees about the conditions of using the internet, the British Airways forbids from posting without authorisation and Virgin Atlantic airlines has internal channels for satisfy the problems of the workers trying that they do not use the social networks (Facebook and MySpace) but this agreements are not sufficient.
The Specialist say that companies should take new security measures for trying to be obeyed and not being damaged in the net by dismissed workers.
